According to reports, 30-year-old Melissa Merchant, a practical nurse of Warrick district, and Andre Bradford, otherwise called ‘Prenge Boy’, a resident of Royal Flat district passed away from injuries sustained in the shooting incident.
What happened at Mandeville market?
Seven people were shot at the entrance of the Mandeville market after 10 PM, resulting in the deaths of 30-year-old Melissa Merchant, a practical nurse, and Andre Bradford, known as ‘Prenge Boy.’
Bradford was reportedly the target of the gunmen, with others hit by stray bullets during his pursuit. This incident occurred during a peace march organized by Albion Primary School to protest rising crime and violence in the area.
Authorities are actively searching for two suspects, and Mayor Donovan Mitchell condemned the attack, urging witnesses to come forward to help police. He noted that the injured victims are receiving medical care, with some treated and released.
