After a forensic pathologist named Dr. Michael Sikirica conducted an autopsy at Glens Falls Hospital on Wednesday, Lisa A. Dashnaw, 57, of Plattsburgh, was identified.
“Dr. Sikirica determined the cause of death to be strangulation and ruled the manner of death a homicide,” the state police reported. The residents near the vicinity of Military Turnpike and State Route 3 are being asked by the police to check their security cameras for any unusual behavior.
