Jennifer Koue, a student at Southwest Wisconsin Technical College who was studying to become a midwife, her away after she was involved in a sad accident. Her death has caused a great deal of mourning. Koue, who was a resident of Silver Springs, Maryland, passed away as a result of the accident on November 12th, 2024. At the time of her passing, she was also employed at Birthwise Midwifery, where she had been working.
The heartbreaking news was shared by Southwest Wisconsin in a lengthy statement that also paid tribute to a healthcare provider who was dedicated and passionate about their career.
The following is an excerpt from the post that was published on Facebook: “It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we share the news of the unexpected and tragic passing of Jennifer Koue, a dedicated student in our SWTC Midwifery Program.” Jennifer was not only a wonderful member of her community but also a talented midwife in training. She was a member of the community.
Due to the fact that her presence, kindness, and dedication touched each and every one of us, we are having a difficult time finding the words to adequately explain the extent of our sorrow. The message proceeded by praising Jennifer as the real embodiment of the best attributes that the midwifery and nursing professions have to offer. Jennifer had a love for assisting mothers and families.
Through her passing, a vacuum has been left behind that will be keenly felt across our program and beyond…Jenn will be sorely missed, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the extraordinary opportunity to call her a friend.
Her funeral arrangements and obituary will be announced by her family at a later date
