Death; Jeffrey “Jeff” Denhard, 59, Tompkinsville, Obituary, Passed Away Suddenly : At Monroe County Medical Center on Friday, June 7, Jeffrey Gene “Jeff” Denhard, 59, of Tompkinsville, passed away unexpectedly. Son of the late Mable Wood Denhard, Jeff was born in Monroe County, Kentucky, on April 10, 1965. Jeff completed his education at Gamaliel High School in 1983. At the Corinth Church of Christ, he underwent baptism. Jeff was a devoted friend and parent. Serving the residents of Monroe County was something he enjoyed doing as a police officer for the City of Tompkinsville.
He will be honored for his commitment to and involvement in Shop in A Cop, along with the generosity he bestowed upon everyone he met. The mother of Jeff’s daughter Michelle Conner, his work family, numerous friends, and his sister Mary “Cricket” Sullivan of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, as well as his beloved companion Kristen Whitlow of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, niece Sera Shayne and great niece Winter Morgan, are among those who survive Jeff.
Beautiful Home Cemetery will be the last resting place for the deceased, following funeral services on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home. Monday from 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. are the times for visiting. The family is requesting donations to Shop With A Cop in place of flowers in order to carry on Jeff’s passion of bringing the pleasure of the holidays to the children of Monroe County.
