Who was Jason Pearson?
Curator Jason Pearson worked at the Duluth Art Institute. Additionally, he used to teach at Minneapolis College of Art & Design. Jason attended Syracuse University and the Minneapolis College of Art & Design. Up until the time of his passing, he resided in Duluth, Minnesota. Jesse was born on January 14, 1980, in Rochester, Minnesota, and graduated from Mayo High School in 1998. He later received his BFA in photography from Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2002.
Following that, he pursued his education at the University of New Mexico, where he earned an MFA with honors in both art history and studio. Even though Jesse held several creative positions, including visual design for Urban Outfitters and Target, his passion was always instructing photography. He taught at several institutions, including the University of New Mexico, the Redwoods College, Eldorado School, Rochester Art Center, Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and Monterey Peninsula College.
