Death; Andrew Denicola (Andy) Obituary, Musical artist Has Passed Away: We regret to inform you of the demise on May 20, 2024, of Andrew DeNicola, a renowned musician and committed teacher from New Jersey. While serving as band director at J.P. Stevens High School in Edison, Andrew dedicated his life to instructing teenagers in music. Many of his students went on to achieve tremendous success under his direction, and his enthusiasm for music and education affected the lives of countless more.
He was a highly esteemed individual, held in high regard by the community and thousands of students. Even though Andrew was unable to enjoy his retirement to the fullest, his influence on the music industry and the hearts of those he taught is still enduring. Andrew retired about a year ago. only on Sunday last week.
The sudden loss of him serves as a heartfelt reminder to embrace each day, follow our passions, and live life to the fullest. In addition to being our community’s pillar, Andrew was a mentor in music. His influence on countless lives and his abiding love of music will ensure his legacy endures. In this trying time, may God continue to bless Andy and his family. My friend, may you rest in peace.
