David J. Rivera, Carlos O. Calderon Death – State authorities have confirmed the identities of the two individuals discovered deceased in a vehicle engulfed in flames in Oxford last week. The deceased have been identified as David J. Rivera, aged 36, and Carlos O. Calderon, aged 39. Both individuals hailed from Hartford.
The state police received the call to the scene at approximately 4:10 a.m. on May 30, where they found the vehicle ablaze. Following the extinguishing of the fire by firefighters, the bodies of Rivera and Calderon were discovered in the vehicle. The Western District Major Crime Squad is currently conducting an investigation into the matter.
