David Dionne Accident; Waterbury, CT, Resident Died in Industrial Accident, Berlin; Loved Ones Mourns
David Dionne of Waterbury, Connecticut, has tragically died. An industrial accident that occurred on Tuesday afternoon, October 22, 2024, resulted in the death of David Dionne, according to the Berlin police.
An industrial accident was reported to have occurred at CWPM 415 Christian Lane Berlin at 12:57 p.m., involving a payloader and David Dionne who may have been trapped underneath. The police and emergency medical services were called upon to investigate the incident.
Upon their arrival, they discovered that a huge industrial payloader had collided with David Dionne at the plant, causing him to sustain serious injuries. He was pronounced dead immediately after being transferred to The Hospital of Central Connecticut, despite the attempts that were made by the victims’ family members.
In conjunction with the Midstate collision Reconstruction Squad, the Berlin Police Department will be conducting an investigation into this specific collision. As part of the investigation, OSHA was also called in order to provide a response and assistance.
