David Anaya Obituary, Death; – The Tulare Police Department has confirmed the identity of the man who was fatally shot on Saturday, as well as the arrest of the suspect involved. The victim has been identified as 53-year-old David Anaya.
On April 5, law enforcement received several 911 calls reporting gunfire in the vicinity of the 900 block of South K Street. Upon arrival, officers found Anaya with gunshot wounds at the scene. Emergency responders, including police and medical personnel, rendered aid to Anaya, who was subsequently taken to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators have identified 32-year-old Raymond Ramirez from Farmersville as the individual responsible for Anaya’s death, based on evidence collected at the scene. Ramirez has been arrested and is currently held at the Tulare County South Detention Facility.
The investigation is still ongoing.
