Darnell Montgomery Obituary – The Franklin Township Police Department has identified the deceased individual involved in a motorcycle crash that occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning. According to the Public Safety Director, Quovella M. Maeweather, the victim has been identified as Darnell Montgomery.
At approximately 12:17 a.m., Franklin police received an emergency call reporting a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Easton Avenue and DeMott Lane. Prompt response from the police, firefighters, and EMS personnel followed, but unfortunately, Montgomery was pronounced dead at 1:01 a.m.
The cause of the crash is currently being investigated by the Traffic Safety Bureau of the Franklin Township Police Department. As a result of the incident, a section of Easton Avenue had to be closed for approximately three hours.
