D’Antai L. Nelson Obituary – One individual lost their life while another sustained serious injuries in a head-on collision in Clark County on Sunday night. The incident occurred on State Route 503, close to milepost 12, shortly after 11:30 p.m. According to the Washington State Patrol, a 1998 Chevrolet Lumina traveling southbound veered across the center line and collided head-on with a 2016 GMC Acadia.
The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as 20-year-old D’Antai L. Nelson from Battle Ground, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the GMC was transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention. The severity of their injuries remains unknown.
WSP has stated that it is currently unclear whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident. The investigation is still ongoing.
