Daniel Trapp,Dennis Penner Obituary, Death; – The Fresno County Coroner’s Office has identified the two men who tragically lost their lives after being retrieved from Millerton Lake on Friday. The deceased individuals have been named as 83-year-old Dennis Penner from Madera and 81-year-old Daniel Trapp from Fresno.
On Friday morning, around 9:45 a.m., officials at Millerton Lake were alerted to a fishing boat located in the Sky Harbor channel. Witnesses reported that it appeared as though individuals had fallen into the water, possibly as a result of being ejected from the moving vessel.
Both Penner and Trapp were recovered from the lake by a park ranger, who initiated CPR. Unfortunately, despite these life-saving measures, the two men were pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation into the incident is currently underway, and no further details have been officially disclosed at this time.
