Daniel R Price Obituary, Death; – New York State Police have identified the individual who perished in a tragic house fire in Windsor on Monday morning. The victim has been named as Daniel R. Price, aged 84.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene of the fire located at 68 White Birch Lake Road at approximately 4:45 a.m. on December 8. Upon arrival, the residence was found to be completely engulfed in flames. It was believed that one person remained inside, while two others managed to escape.
Authorities reported that Price was discovered deceased within the home by members of the Windsor Fire Department. An 82-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man were transported to Wilson Medical Center via ambulance, suffering from injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.
The Windsor Fire Department confirmed that several cats also lost their lives in the fire. Fire departments from West Windsor, Harpursville, Five Mile Point, Susquehanna, and Deposit provided assistance at the scene. Broome County Fire Investigators and the Broome County Coroner also arrived to investigate the incident
