Daniel Courville Obituary – Louisiana State Police (LSP) Troop D began investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred around 9 p.m. on Saturday, claiming the life of 31-year-old Daniel Courville. Courville was fatally injured while attempting to cross I-10 West just east of Fabacher Road after his vehicle had entered the median. 45-year-old Juan Camacho of Texas, who was traveling west on I-10, struck Courville as he crossed the roadway.
Camacho was determined to have been impaired at the time of the crash and was subsequently arrested and charged with first-offense DWI. The crash is still under investigation.
