The body of a man was found in the Hawkwell area on the evening of Thursday, May 2.
Essex Police has confirmed Mr Copeland’s family is being supported and the man’s death is not being treated as suspicious.
Police have suspended their search of the missing man from south Essex after a body was discovered last night.
His family and community are still praying for his safe return.
His family described him as a loving, happy, and kindhearted man; he would never leave home without a word.
The family is urging the police to find Daniel and identify the discovered body.
If it is Daniel’s body, his family is devastated because he left without a word and no one knew his whereabouts.
The search for Daniel Copeland, a 52-year-old guy who was reported missing from Hawkwell, has been stopped after the finding of a deceased male.
An unidentified deceased male was found in the vicinity of Hawkwell on the evening of Thursday, May 2nd.
Daniel’s family has been notified and is being provided with support.
The man’s death is not being seen as suspicious.
