Damarion Bailey Obituary – An 18-year-old suspect, Jeron Smith, has been apprehended in connection with the tragic shooting of a 15-year-old victim, Damarion Bailey, in Florida City on Saturday morning. Smith is currently facing charges of second-degree murder in relation to Bailey’s death. The incident took place near northwest 13th street and fifth avenue around 10:30 a.m., where Bailey was found with fatal gunshot wounds.
Despite the efforts of Florida City officers and Miami-Dade Police, Bailey succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The circumstances leading to the shooting remain unclear, as the alleged shooter fled the scene before law enforcement arrived. However, authorities were able to locate and apprehend the suspect, Smith, who is scheduled to appear before a judge in bond court on Sunday.
