Dalton Weise Moncks Corner, SC teen died by suicide; Rodeo fans mourn 13-year-old bull rider

Dalton Weise Moncks Corner, SC Death: The Rodeo communities in South Carolina are mourning the tragic death of a beloved teenager and rider who passed away unexpectedly. 13-year-old Dalton Weise died late Wednesday night from an apparent suicide.

According to reports, Dalton was a respectful teenager and a great brother. He was a better bull-rider than most teens on his page, a friend wrote. Weise was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was an intelligent student at Berkeley High School. Following his tragic death, the school district announced that resources would be available at the school campus for anyone interested.

Prayers have been requested for the family, especially for Dalton’s mother, Amanda Weise JD Weise, and Madi. Moncks Corner Pro Rodeo released the following statement following the sad incident; “We want to send our sincere condolences to the Weise family. Our hearts break for this family, so many prayers to y’all. God gained such a sweet angel. We will miss seeing this hometown cowboy in the arena.
