Dalion Ambler Obituary, Death;- A man from Cleveland tragically lost his life in a workplace incident on Friday, as reported by the Summit County Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred at approximately 9:45 a.m. at Emerald Transformer, located on Highland Road in Twinsburg Township.
According to the sheriff’s office, the individual entered a tank to perform an air quality assessment while two colleagues waited outside. When they realized the victim was unresponsive, they attempted to assist him, as stated by the sheriff.
Unfortunately, the 35-year-old man, later identified as Dalion Ambler, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Twinsburg Fire Department characterized the tank as a railroad tanker car situated behind the facility. They concluded that the cause of death was due to an “oxygen deficient atmosphere” within the tank.
The fire department further noted that the victim was a contractor from Clean Harbors, engaged by Emerald Transformer to test and clean rail tanker cars. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
