Major delays were being reported along Route 4 due to a crash that downed a utility pole and live wires on Sunday, June 2, authorities said.
The crash happened around 8 a.m. in the westbound lanes near River Road, Teaneck police said. The Bergen County Sheriff’s Office was investigating.
The roadway remained closed as of 2:30 p.m.
Teaneck police in its earlier announcement said the eastbound side was down to one lane, and the westbound side was entirely shut.
