35-year-old Cortez Hicks was killed in a tragic shooting in Dublin on Wednesday afternoon.
The fatal incident happened in a residential area and shocked the local population.

The shooting happened at a home at 422 Jones Village in Dublin, Georgia just before noon. Emergency services were called to the scene and Hicks was rushed to Fairview Park Hospital.
Despite the efforts of doctors, he died shortly after being brought to the hospital. According to Laurens County Deputy Coroner Nathan Stanley, Hicks was pronounced dead at approximately 12:24 p.m.
