Connie Eileen Johnson Obituary, Death; – Authorities have now confirmed the identity of the woman whose vehicle entered the water at the Circus Bridge in Venice over the weekend. The individual has been identified as Connie Eileen Johnson, aged 65. Johnson was employed at Sharkey’s on the Pier restaurant.
As reported by the city, her car plunged into the Intracoastal Waterway at the Circus Bridge on Tamiami Trail shortly after 3 p.m. on Saturday. A total of six agencies, including the Venice Police, U.S. Coast Guard, and the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, responded in an effort to rescue her.
