Concepcion Bobadilla Obituary, Death; – A 70-year-old woman from Carpinteria has been identified as the pedestrian who lost her life after being struck by a train in Carpinteria on Tuesday morning. Concepcion Bobadilla was hit by an Amtrak Pacific Surfliner train on the tracks located at the intersection of Calle Ocho and Calle Arena, as reported by Raquel Zick, the public information officer for the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office.
Zick indicated that there are no indications that Bobadilla’s death was suspicious or accidental. The Coroner’s Bureau is conducting an investigation to ascertain the cause and manner of her death, according to Zick.
