Collins Philips Obituary, Death – Colin James Phillips, who was a cherished husband, brother, uncle, and friend, departed this world on March 7th, 2024, at the age of 83. He was a member of the Phillips family. His death has left a hole in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him, but his memory will be treasured for all of eternity. Colin, a former resident of Batley who now resides in Meadow Green, Heckmondwike, created a life that was replete with love and affection throughout his entire existence.
The steadfast dedication that he had for his wife, Betty, was a clear indication of the tremendous strength of the connection that they shared. They were able to weather crises together, build a legacy of love that would last through the centuries, and have many moments of delight together thanks to their partnership. Colin was a beloved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and great uncle in addition to his role as a devoted spouse. He was also a great uncle. The warmth, generosity, and gentle nature that he possessed won over the hearts of everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
His family members will keenly feel the absence of his presence because he brought joy into their lives because of his presence. The memory of Colin will be preserved not only by his family, but also by the numerous friends that he made throughout the course of his existence. Because of his warm personality and genuine concern for the well-being of others, he became a well-liked figure in his community. Colin had a profound impact on the lives of a great number of people and left an indelible mark on those he came in contact with, whether he was telling stories over a cup of tea or lending a helping hand.
In the midst of our gathering to say our final goodbyes to Colin, let us take this opportunity to honor the life of a magnificent individual who exhibited love, generosity, and compassion. On the Thursday, March 28th, 2024, at 12:30 p.m., the funeral service will be held at the Dewsbury Moor Crematorium. Even though we are saddened by his departure, let us not forget the happiness he brought into our lives and the love he shared with everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. As a gesture of respect for Colin’s memory, the family respectfully begs that only flowers from the family be delivered.
