Collin Zavoda Obituary, Bridgewater New Jersey, GoFundMe Support :We are all devastated by the tragic and unexpected death of Collin, our cherished son, brother, friend, and teammate. Collin was well-known in our community for his contagious grin, amiable demeanor, and unrelenting excitement. He was a shining light.
Collin loved to go on excursions and hang out with other Boy Scouts. He was an enthusiastic member. Playing hockey as a young player with the Protec Ducks, Protec Predators, Hunterdon Bears, and Bridgewater Raritan High School Panthers, he also enjoyed the rush of competition. To further support the hockey community, he also accepted the task of training to be a young referee in the previous year. Collin made everyone around him feel included and welcome, whether they were on the ice or not. He always had a kind thing to say.
Mitchell, who is a senior in high school this year, and his parents Elsa and Doug are finding it difficult to handle the emotional load. We are reaching out to our community to beg for your help in getting through this very trying period. Donations will be sent directly to the family to assist with funeral costs and give them time and space to process their tragic loss.
