Christopher Lambert,Laura Lambert Obituary, Death;- The identities of the individuals who perished in a house fire in Rutherford County earlier this January have been disclosed, along with the findings of the investigation conducted on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Rutherford County Fire Rescue (RCFR), Christopher Lambert, aged 63, and Laura Lambert, aged 61, lost their lives in the fire that occurred on January 9 in the 6500 block of Kari Drive. RCFR reported that emergency crews arrived at the residence shortly before 3 a.m. and encountered a structure engulfed in flames.
Firefighters worked diligently to control the blaze, and the county’s Fire Marshal’s Office was summoned to the scene. Additionally, the Rutherford County Highway Department was called to address the icy conditions on the roadway caused by water runoff.
“During the initial investigation, it was confirmed that two individuals were unable to escape the fire and were pronounced dead at the scene by the Rutherford County Medical Examiner’s Office,” stated RCFR.
The investigation concluded that the fire was accidental in nature.
