Christopher Gorak Obituary, Death; – On Christmas Eve, police officers in Middletown shot and killed an individual, as reported by our media partners at WCPO-9 TV. The deceased has been identified as 50-year-old Christopher Gorak. According to Daniel Hills from Front Line Advisors, Middletown police responded to a call regarding a fight between two men at the Olde Towne Apartment located in the 1000 block of Park Lane around 7:19 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers knocked on the apartment door and announced their presence. WCPO-9 TV indicates that the suspect opened the door while armed and allegedly aimed the firearm at the officers. In response, the police discharged their weapons, resulting in the suspect being shot.
The suspect was subsequently pronounced dead, although it remains unclear whether he was transported to a medical facility. Fortunately, no officers sustained injuries during the incident. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) has been tasked with examining the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
