Chris Milem, Obituary, Death; – A fatal multi-vehicle collision occurred on Saturday night in Clark County, resulting in the death of one individual. The deceased has been identified as Chris Milem, a 57-year-old resident of Quincy, according to a statement released by the Springfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Emergency crews promptly responded to the incident, which took place at approximately 11:19 p.m. on State Route 235 and Marquart Road, located three miles north of New Carlisle.
According to the Highway Patrol, the sequence of events unfolded as follows: a 1999 International tractor-trailer was traveling eastbound on Marquart Road and came to a stop at a stop sign for State Route 235. Subsequently, it proceeded through the intersection and collided with a 2004 Suzuki motorcycle, driven by Chris Milem, that was heading southbound on State Route 235.
Tragically, Milem was then struck by a Ram pickup truck that was also traveling southbound on State Route 235. The coroner’s office pronounced Milem, the motorcyclist, deceased. Fortunately, the drivers of the tractor-trailer and pickup truck emerged from the incident unharmed. Currently, the crash remains under investigation. The Pike Twp.-North Hampton Fire Department and EMS, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, and the Clark County Coroner’s Office provided assistance at the scene.
