(PINPOINT WEATHER) — We’re cold and chilly to start this Thursday, but warmer temperatures will settle in by this afternoon. Layers are the name of the game, with lows starting off in the 30s from our mountains into the Queen City.
Winds are calm under mostly clear skies, which plays into the cold temperatures we’re feeling Thursday morning. It won’t take long for us to warm up Thursday as the sun comes up and dominates for much of the day.

Highs will settle into the upper 60s and near 70 degrees as winds flow out of the southwest between 5 and 10 miles per hour. We’ll be slightly above normal and dry for Thursday before another chilly night settles in.
Overnight lows will dip into the upper 40s tonight, with upper 70s on tap for Friday to end the work week. This weekend will keep the warm weather coming as upper 70s return and clouds build throughout the day on Saturday.
Sunday brings more rain chances and a chance of isolated storms ahead of an approaching cold front early next week. Be on the lookout for a stormy start to the week as Monday brings upper 70s with a chances of Severe Weather.

We’ll watch Monday’s forecast closely as the weekend approaches and our increased fire danger takes a back seat to the increased rain chances this weekend.
Low 70s and upper 60s will linger through Tuesday & Wednesday under partly to mostly cloudy skies.
Thursday: Mostly Sunny & Warm. High: 70.
Thursday Night: Partly Cloudy and Chilly. Low: 47.
