Cherie D Valentine Obituary, Death; – The McLean County Coroner has confirmed the identity of a woman who was struck and killed in the parking lot of a shopping center in Bloomington on Friday.
Cherie D. Valentine, aged 76 and a resident of Bloomington, was declared dead at the scene. According to coroner Kathy Yoder, preliminary autopsy findings suggest that Valentine succumbed to multiple blunt force injuries after being hit and run over by an SUV.
Toxicology results are still pending. Bloomington Police responded to the incident at approximately 1:50 p.m. in the 1600 block of East Empire Street, specifically in the parking lot of the Empire Plaza Shopping Center.
