Chase James Death – Two motorcyclists sustained injuries in separate incidents after colliding with deer while riding their motorcycles. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Chase James, aged 39 and from North Mankato, suffered life-threatening injuries when his motorcycle hit a deer on Highway 169 shortly before 10:40 PM on Friday near Winnebago in Faribault County. James was immediately transported to Blue Earth Hospital due to the severity of his injuries. It is worth noting that he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
In another incident, the State Patrol reported that Alfred Alex, a 67-year-old resident of Minneapolis, was involved in an accident around 9:40 PM. Alex’s motorcycle collided with a deer on Highway 68, approximately one mile east of Judson. Fortunately, Alex was wearing a helmet, which helped mitigate the impact of the collision. He was subsequently taken to Mankato Hospital to receive treatment for his injuries.
