CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — On Thursday, US Postal Service workers in Charlotte voiced their objections to the Trump administration’s work to break up the USPS as part of a nationwide effort by the American Postal Workers Union.
The rally at the Park Road shopping center post office is in response to talks of transferring the USPS to the commerce department or selling it to a private company.
Union organizers say they want to remind Americans that only Congress can change the structure of the postal service.
