ATLANTA, GA (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A 42-year-old man died after being shot in Atlanta on Friday night, according to the Atlanta Police Department.
In a news conference held on March 28, officials said the incident happened on Luckie Street and Mills Street around 6:35 p.m.
Police say a man approached a group of people sitting on the sidewalk and got into a verbal altercation with them. That argument led to gunfire, and a man from Charlotte was struck.
He was transported to the hospital, where he later died Saturday morning around 4:14 a.m.
The victim has not been identified at this time. A suspect has not been named.
