Charles Harris Obituary, Death; – One individual has lost his life, and another has been apprehended following a stabbing incident that occurred over the weekend in Montgomery.
At 9:09 a.m. on Sunday, Montgomery police and fire medics were called to the 1600 block of South Holt Street in response to a report of a deceased person. According to Lt. David Wise, officers arrived to discover 59-year-old Charles Harris deceased at the location.
Court documents indicate that Harris sustained a stab wound to the neck at some point between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. Authorities have identified the suspect as 25-year-old Deiontae Westery, who faces murder charges and is currently being held without bond at the Montgomery County Detention Facility. The motive for the incident has not yet been revealed.
