Charles Graham Jr,Andrew Blessing Obituary, Death; – The individual who lost their life in what authorities have classified as a mass shooting in Maryland on Tuesday, December 17, has been named.
Charles Graham Jr., aged 26, was declared deceased at the scene in Towson, Maryland, where law enforcement discovered several victims near a vehicle that was “engulfed in flames” at approximately 7:15 p.m., as stated by Baltimore County Police Chief Robert McCullough during a press conference on Wednesday, December 18.
According to McCullough, eight additional individuals appeared to have sustained gunshot injuries, while a ninth individual was injured by means other than a gunshot. All injured parties, ranging in age from 14 to 27, were transported to local hospitals.
The police have categorized the event as a mass shooting and are examining the circumstances that led to the vehicle crash involving all ten victims. “We do not believe this was a random act of violence,” McCullough informed the media, adding that investigators are considering the possibility that this incident may be linked to a recent fatal shooting in the same vicinity.
The shooting referenced by McCullough resulted in the death of 19-year-old Andrew Blessing on December 9, according to a police press release. No arrests have been made in connection with that case.
“The homicide of Andrew Blessing occurred not far from the shooting yesterday, and it remains an active investigation,” McCullough noted. “At this stage, nothing has been excluded from consideration.”
The investigation into the shooting on Tuesday is ongoing, and law enforcement has yet to make any arrests. Authorities are encouraging anyone with information regarding the incident to reach out to the police by calling 410-887-4636 (INFO).
