Charles Branham Obituary, – The deceased individual, a 47-year-old man from Crown Point, passed away on Friday due to sustaining multiple gunshot wounds inside a Gary apartment located in the 4400 block of Broadway. The victim was identified as Charles Branham by the Lake County Coroner’s Office. Branham’s cause of death was determined to be exsanguination resulting from the gunshot wounds.
His death was officially pronounced at 12:02 a.m. on Saturday. Following completion of the autopsy at the Lake County Forensic Science Center in Crown Point, Branham was positively identified by his family members. The incident is currently under investigation by the Gary police, the Lake County Prosecutor Homicide Task Force, and Lake County CSI.
