Charles Becke Obituary, Death; – A man has lost his life following a collision that occurred in the early hours of the morning in Dearborn County. As reported by the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place at approximately 8 a.m. on State Road 48 in Lawrenceburg Township on February 25.
A 30-year-old individual was reversing out of a driveway in a Volkswagen Beetle when his vehicle struck a 2002 Cadillac Escalade that was traveling westward. The driver of the Beetle was subsequently transported to UC Medical Center for treatment. The driver of the Escalade was initially taken to St. Elizabeth Dearborn and later airlifted to UC Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
On February 27, the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office confirmed the identity of the deceased driver as 73-year-old Charles Becker from Sunman. The Dearborn Sheriff’s Office has stated that the driver of the Beetle has been fully cooperative during the investigation.
