Charles Anderson Hamilton Obituary, Death; – Charles Anderson Hamilton, aged 92, from Knoxville, and previously from Tellico Plains, TN, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024. He was a retired Deacon and a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church for 65 years. Charles served honorably in the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Burness Hamilton; son, Charles Trent Hamilton (Debra); son-in-law, Kenneth Kirby; grandchildren, Isaac Kirby, John Kirby, Jared Hamilton (Jessica), and Jordan Hamilton (April); great-grandchildren, Joel Kirby, Thomas Kirby, Matthan Kirby, Weston Kirby, Jack Hamilton, and June Hamilton; sister, Clara Holt of Old Hickory, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
Instead of flowers, donations can be made to Valley Grove Baptist Church, 9000 Sevierville Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920. The Funeral Service is scheduled for 2 PM on Tuesday, June 18th at Atchley’s Seymour Chapel, 122 Peacock Ct., Seymour, TN 37865 with Rev. Keith Vaughan leading the service.
