The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a double homicide that took place on Monday night in the 8000 block of Rebawood Drive in Humble.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez reported that deputies from Precinct 4 responded to a shooting at the residence. Upon arrival, they found a male victim dead from gunshot wounds. A female victim, who was also shot, was taken to a nearby hospital but later died from her injuries.

If convicted of capital murder, Rivera-Perez could face life imprisonment without parole or the death penalty.
