Casey Jay Osvard Obituary, Death – Early on Saturday morning, June 15, 2024, Casey Jay Ovard passed away peacefully in his home, accompanied by his beloved mother, Vicki Hall, and his loving wife, Carrie Ovard. Vicki Hall and Dwane Ovard were the devoted parents of Casey, who was born in Logan, Utah, on August 14, 1975, at the age of 48.
Casey is survived by his mother, Vicki Hall, stepfather, Parley, and father, Dwane Ovard and stepmother, Liz. Casey attended Pine View High School and graduated in 1993. He was born and raised in St. George, Utah. He played baseball as a child and later pursued a career in aviation, fusing his lifelong passion for sports with his love of flight.
Casey’s beloved family continues to carry on his legacy. Karli King, Kelsi Lindberg, and Kaden Lindberg, his stepchildren, and his devoted wife, Carrie Lynn Ovard, survive him. His children, Aspyn, Trey, Avrey, and Tavyn Ovard, as well as his ex-wife, Sascha Draper, all remember him. Greyson Ochoa-King, Harper King, and Lynden Braun are his step-grandkids; Cove Ferris, Lola Ferris, and Elle Ferris are his grandchildren. His memory will live on in the hearts of his brother Wade Ovard and wife Heather, brother Mike Ovard and wife Angela, sister Amy McAllister and husband Chad, and many nieces and nephews.
As a proficient electrician and prosperous electrical contractor, Casey devoted his professional life to his flourishing company, Team Electrical Contracting, located in Southern Utah. His professional achievements were only matched by his driven nature. Casey, who was well-known for his quick wit and contagious humor, had a special talent for making everyone laugh and smile.
Casey joins his cousin Summer Dutson, stepfather Vic Condie, and brother Brad Ovard in celebrating. His presence in our lives was a gift, and his memory will continue to encourage and raise us. Those who knew and loved Casey will miss him terribly. His warmth, humor, and unfailing love will never be forgotten.
