Casandra Jones Obituary, – Two women and an unborn child lost their lives in a tragic accident in Knoxville, as confirmed by authorities. Emergency responders were dispatched to a head-on collision at an intersection on Friday evening at approximately 6 p.m. Reports from court documents revealed that 20-year-old Jonathon Jones veered into the westbound lane while driving east, resulting in a collision with a Ford Expedition, as per WVLT.
Witnesses informed troopers that Jones had been driving recklessly, overtaking other vehicles on a double yellow line prior to the accident. Rural Metro officials stated, “Multiple individuals were trapped and required extraction from the wreckage.” Court records indicated that five individuals sustained injuries and were transported to the hospital. Casandra Jones, the sole passenger in Jonathon’s vehicle, was pronounced deceased at the scene, along with her unborn child.
