At least two persons have suffered serious injuries in a gunshot, and Carteret Police are responding to the site. Initial reports from RLS Media reporters on the site state that the incident happened at 1186 Roosevelt Avenue at 9:30 a.m. When police arrived at the scene following reports of many gunshots, they discovered two seriously injured victims. The victims were airlifted to nearby hospitals; according to the residents, they look to be two women. As of right now, their conditions are unknown. As soon as Carteret Police arrived on the site, they asked Woodbridge Police and the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office for help. Officials from Middlesex County have not yet confirmed any additional information on the event.
