CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Carowinds is opening an adults-only section to its water park this summer.
The state-line theme park announced Thursday that the Carolina Harbor Shore Club is coming to the Carolina Harbor Waterpark. This exclusive section of the park is designed for visitors 21 and over, with the park touring “a sophisticated atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the main attractions.”
“Whether you’re looking to relax with a drink in hand, play games with friends, or simply enjoy some peace and quiet, this new adults-only area at Carolina Harbor Waterpark has something for everyone. Treat yourself to a day of indulgence and relaxation in this exclusive oasis,” the Carowinds website says.
The Shore Club will feature Charlotte’s first swim-up cocktail bar, plus a lawn game area and private cabanas with a mini fridge, TV and dedicated server.
Carowinds is set to open March 15, with the Shore Club coming a few months later. The park will have new rides, several are being retired.
