Carly Bentley Obituary, Death; – A woman was discovered deceased on Sunday, resulting in the apprehension of a man in Gaston County.
Officers performing a welfare check located Carly Bentley, 28, unresponsive at a residence on Mistywood Drive in Mount Holly. The police reported that Bentley was found around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, as stated by the Gaston County Police Department. Authorities have not disclosed the circumstances surrounding Bentley’s death.
The suspect, identified as Michael Lee Wall, 39, attempted to evade capture but was apprehended after a K9 unit successfully tracked him. Wall faces charges of first-degree murder, obstruction of justice, and resisting arrest. He is currently being held without bond at the Gaston County Jail.
