Route 101 in NH Accident: Authorities in Candia said that a “serious crash” had closed Route 101 westbound, leaving two dead and three injured.
About 12:30 p.m., Candia Fire Rescue Capt. Mike Kelly informed News 9. On Saturday, they received a heads-up about a head-on collision involving two cars.
The collision shut down westbound Route 101 in Candia about mile marker 69, which is close to the Depot Road overpass.
Kelly reported that Route 101 was closed on both sides.
“Our ambulance was actually in the area of Exit 3 so they were on scene fairly quickly,” Kelly stated. “They found several vehicles involved, initially reported several critical patients,” Kelly stated.
One individual was sent in critical condition to Elliot Hospital.
