Candace McCree 34, Spartanburg Has Passed Away From Car Accident: A woman passed away on Wednesday, the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office revealed, a few days after an accident in the county.
Around 6:00 a.m., according to troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a crash occurred along S. Blackstock Road. The victim’s car was driving along S. Blackstock Road when it veered off to the left and struck a mailbox and a tree, according to troopers.
The victim was rushed to the hospital after the collision, according to the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office, but on May 22, it was declared brain dead. The victim was identified by the Coroner’s Office as Spartanburg resident Candace McCree, 34.
