Camilia Williams Obituary, Death; – Governor Brian Kemp issued a statement on Facebook today in response to the tragic death of a woman from Marietta, who was reportedly killed by an undocumented immigrant.
On Thursday, March 20, our affiliate in Atlanta reported that the individual charged with the murder of 52-year-old Camilia Williams has been identified as an undocumented immigrant. He is currently facing charges of felony murder and aggravated assault.
In his statement, the governor urged the people of Georgia to keep Williams and her family in their thoughts and prayers. Kemp further denounced acts of violence, asserting, “If individuals who commit violent crimes are in our country illegally, we will not hesitate to collaborate with our federal partners to ensure their removal from our state and nation.”
Additionally, the governor expressed gratitude to local law enforcement and the Trump administration for their support in this matter.
