Callum Moore Obituary, – The police have confirmed that a motorcyclist has tragically passed away following a road crash in the southern part of the Isle of Man. Callum Moore, aged 26, was airlifted to a hospital in the UK for treatment after the incident occurred on the Ballamodha Straight, near its junction with South Barrule, at approximately 16:30 BST on Wednesday.
The Isle of Man Constabulary has stated that another individual is currently assisting them with their investigation. Detective Inspector Steven Berry has expressed that the investigation is ongoing and extended the force’s heartfelt condolences to Mr. Moore’s family and friends during this challenging time.
Detective Inspector Berry has appealed to anyone who may have dashcam footage or CCTV footage from properties in the area at the time of the crash to come forward. Additionally, he has specifically requested information from individuals who may have witnessed two motorcycles being ridden together in the vicinity of the Ballamodha Straight just before the collision. In light of the circumstances, Detective Inspector Berry has urged the public to refrain from speculating about the crash and to respect the privacy of all those involved.
