Caleb Hawkins Obituary-Death News; Family And Friends Mourn The Loss of CA Man Killed In Tragic Accident
After a terrible car accident, Caleb Hawkins, a cherished Sacramento, California native, tragically died on October 19, 2024.
His family, friends, and community, who loved him for his warmth, friendliness, and lively spirit, were devastated by his passing at the age of just 27.
Caleb Hawkins was Aaron Hawkins’ younger brother and the son of Marlene and David Hawkins. He was born on August 5, 1997. He was born and raised in Sacramento, where he excelled academically and athletically, especially in track and field, while attending Sacramento High School.
His love of sports carried over into his undergraduate years, where he competed on the school’s track team and graduated with a degree in business administration from Sacramento State University. From his schooling to his career and interpersonal connections, Caleb’s commitment, diligence, and determination were apparent in every facet of his life.
Caleb immediately made a name for himself as a bright young professional by pursuing a job in finance after graduating from college. Although his coworkers respected his education and work ethic, his contagious smile and upbeat demeanor were what really set him apart. Caleb was always willing to assist out or support people in need, and he had a special knack of making every space he entered seem brighter.
In addition to his work, Caleb was a devoted brother, friend, and son. He loved being outside, hiking, and taking in Northern California’s breathtaking scenery. Caleb loved music too, and he and his friends frequently went to local festivals and concerts.
Caleb Hawkins’s family, friends, and the larger Sacramento community are all grieving his passing. Those who knew and loved him are left with an indelible hole in their hearts by his untimely death. Even though his life was brutally cut short, those who had the good fortune to meet him will always be inspired by his generosity, optimism, and love of life.
On Saturday, October 26, 2024, Caleb’s funeral services will take place in Sacramento’s St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. The family asks that donations be sent to a nearby charity that promotes young sports, a subject that was very important to Caleb, in instead of flowers.
