Caleb Fitch, the 13-year-old son of Matt Fitch, is in critical condition following a serious accident on September 6, 2024, where he was struck by a car while riding his bike home from school.
Caleb was airlifted to Phoenix Children’s Hospital in critical condition, where dedicated surgeons and medical staff have worked tirelessly to care for him.
Miraculously, Caleb survived and is recovering in the ICU. However, the life-threatening injuries Caleb sustained are severe, requiring multiple surgeries with more to come.
Recent procedures treated Caleb’s traumatic head injuries, including multiple skull and facial fractures, a brain hemorrhage, and deep lacerations to his face, scalp, and body.
His right arm sustained severe soft tissue and ligament damage, which will require additional surgeries and skin grafts to repair the injuries. Although progressing, Caleb still faces a long road to physical recovery and mental well-being.
