Cade H Blackburn Obituary – On Saturday, March 30, a man was found dead inside a residence in Edgerton, leading to the charging of a suspect with murder.
Joseph Wacaster, aged 31, has been charged with premeditated first-degree murder in Johnson County District Court.
Deputies from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident after receiving a report of a suspicious death in the 500 block of West Edgewood Drive. The deceased man has been identified as 27-year-old Cade H. Blackburn.
Investigators believe that Wacaster had a connection to Blackburn. Wacaster was apprehended in Pawhuska, Oklahoma on the same day.
His initial court appearance is scheduled for Friday afternoon, and his bond has been set at $1 million.
